Well hello, yep I have made trhe leap from the other Site to here. I make no excuses in saying I am here to learn. I have the average collection of aircraft models, Carriers and Armour than one might be able to squeeze into half the garage {the other half of the garage {my SHED} is also still mine.

I am geting back into the modelling game after a very very {ancient Egyptian Kings is abot the time lag}
No reason apart from Operations and Ilness are my only excuses.
I don't know, I used to start a kit , one third finish and then leave it.
Now since I retired early there were many other things to do as well
But I want back nto the fraternity, and show I am capable of competing at least in the JUNIOR ranks. So much has gone by the wayside, though I read in UK, US and other magazines , that there is so much aftermarket stuff, and "do I use this or that glue} etc , It really is like a merry-go-round.

Anyway I am here, I will ask a lot of questions, and hey, no "flaming" unless it is like Spike Milligan type "aving a go" with a bent smile

I am looking forward to this year I have 21 project {ahh Armour and figures in 1/35th, a Stalingrad Diorama.
the others are to complete some resin Anigrand kits as Experimental planes and Fleet Air or Carrier Aviation are my biggest hobby loves. I have collected enough cars to fill half a grid at a Le Mans for any year between 1970/1 to 1990, tough choices there. I do love Motor Racing as well as Air Racing.
Well just saying hi,

Oh what did I do all my life.Age 17 a Sapper Australian Army Engineers, then Regular Army, Tankie with the 1st Armoured Regt, then a wierd swap joined and did the damaged in the OZ SAS,till late into 90's then after that Helicopter Rescue stuff, Mountaineering and then damage done to body and the old "head" , I was retired out Disabled {they call it in OZ TPI, Totally&Permanently Disabled!!!!
Hell I could still do some things, that is why my wife is now my secretary {as it should be} and a supposed carer..she says help ya self:-}
ahh life , aint it wonderful
Models , and fun now
Now tell me I am sane please?
cheers
